Health and social services department to stop in Blaine

Staff with the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DHSH) will connect the community with various social service programs out of their mobile office in Blaine next week.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 11 at the Blaine Senior Center, located at 763 G Street.

Residents will have the chance to apply for cash, food and medical assistance as well as sign up for a Medicare savings program.

Staff will also help process paperwork, complete eligibility and mid-certification reviews and review existing cases.
