Now’s the time to reserve a seat for an upcoming fundraiser at The Vault Wine Bar.

Local music group Angels Descending will perform  benefit shows for the Drayton Harbor Music Festival and Blaine-Birch Bay Healthy Youth Coalition on Sunday, September 23.

Tickets cost $35 and include hors d’oeuvres and a beverage, said The Vault co-owner Joni Finston.

Angels Descending is comprised of vocalists Wendy Donaghy and Sharon Mayson and pianist Matthew Ma; the performances will also feature a violinist and drummer. Donaghy said their music features covers from a mix of genres, including opera, Broadway and pop.

“It’s a whole mix of stuff,” she said. “A fun, fun mix.”

The benefit show for the Blaine-Birch Bay Healthy Youth Coalition will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. and the Drayton Harbor Music Festival will take place from 6 to 8 p.m.

The event is sponsored in part by Wendy’s husband, Thomas Donaghy, a local CPA and financial advisor. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 360/392-0955.

The Vault Wine Bar is located at 277 G Street in Blaine. To learn more, visit thevaultwine.com.
