October 22, 1951 – April 5, 2018

Wendy Lou Egan passed away on April 5, 2018. She was a creative, sensitive, caring, smart and enduringly strong person for her entire 66 years living in our most northern venues. She was born and grew up in Madison, Wisconsin

In her early 20’s, Wendy moved to Valdez, Alaska.  She lived a pioneering life for the first years, living in an historical cabin while the house was built.

In 1999, Wendy moved to Blaine, WA where she met Matthew Egan. They married on November 24, 2001 and lived in Birch Bay. Wendy worked at the UPS Customs Brokerage office in Blaine for 17 years and retired in 2017.

Wendy passed peacefully in her sleep after a three-year battle with cancer.  There are no words to truly express how much she will be missed by her husband, family and friends.
